Using this site

These terms apply to your use of sustainbit.com and to any brief you submit through the site. By submitting a brief, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the privacy page. The site is run by SustainBit Pty Ltd, a company registered in New South Wales, Australia.

What this site is

This is a marketing site for a consultancy. It describes what we do and lets you send us a brief. It is not a product you log into, and nothing on it is an offer to provide consultancy services. No client or consulting engagement starts unless we agree it separately, in writing.

The brief you send

When you send a brief, send only what you are comfortable sharing at a first contact. Submitting a brief does not create a client, consulting, fiduciary, confidentiality, or exclusivity relationship. Do not send confidential, sensitive, regulated, or third-party material unless we have agreed in writing to receive it. If you send unsolicited confidential, sensitive, regulated, or third-party material, we may delete, minimise, or ignore it, and we are not required to return it. We read every brief by hand and take a small number of engagements each year, so a reply is never guaranteed and is not a commitment to work together.

You confirm that what you send is yours to send and does not break anyone else's rights or any law. You grant us a limited, royalty-free licence to read, copy, and use what you send solely to assess, respond to, and administer your enquiry. Fair use of the form

The contact form is protected by a bot check and is rate-limited, up to five submissions a minute and twenty an hour from the same visitor. Do not use the site or form to send spam, abuse, malware, unlawful or infringing content, security probes, or automated submissions, to impersonate anyone, or to get around these limits. Submissions that fail the bot check or the rate limit are refused.

What is ours

The content, design, trade marks, and code on this site are owned by us or licensed to us unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read the site, link to it, and quote it with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale or pass it off as your own.

No guarantees

The site is provided as is. We keep it running and accurate as best we can, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of error. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on what it says. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Not advice

The site is general information only. It is not legal, financial, tax, engineering, carbon-accounting, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for advice specific to your situation.

Changes and law

We may update these terms as the site changes. Changes apply from when they are published and only to your use of the site after that. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth courts sitting in New South Wales.
